My MBA from Auburn gave me the strategic and technical skill sets to be successful as a software executive and strategic advisor to CEOs.” Douglas Lundy (’14, MBA) has changed the course of his career. “After a period of introspection, I decided to resign as co-president of Resurgens Orthopaedics in Atlanta when the group decided to sell to private equity. I am now chair of the department of orthope- dic surgery at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Pennsylvania. “Life is great, and I continue to use my Auburn education on a daily basis. My oldest son is a senior in the aviation management program at Auburn.” Danielle Lusk (’16, human resources management) recently got engaged, shortly after landing a job at Google as an anaylist on the revenue analytics team for Google Cloud. Her previous role at HERE technologies was similar, creating revenue, booking, and pipeline reports for the executive team and aligning the data across the business. Emmalyn Merrill (’17, human resources management) left a technical recruiting career in Huntsville, Alabama, in November 2021 to pursue a career in law. She is now a legal analyst at The Cochran Firm in Dothan, Alabama, and will begin study- ing at Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in fall 2022. Riley Smith (’14, supply chain manage- ment) was hired earlier this year as a pilot by FedEx Express. “Countless Auburn alumni in the avia- tion field have been tremendous mentors to me throughout my aviation career and are
without a doubt a huge part of helping me land my dream job. I will be delivering “The World on Time” flying for FedEx Express around the world.” Working on a FedEx case study during his supply chain management capstone course was a huge motivator to join the transpor- tation and logistics company. 2020s Eric Lipomi (’20, business administration) is at Barry School of Law and working for a construction and real estate litigation firm in Orlando, Florida. Erin Wittwer (’21, accounting) recently accepted a job with Auburn University as an accountant in the biosystems engineer- ing department. She heard about this job opportunity from Colby Lakas in the school of accoun- tancy. Lakas posted on LinkedIn that the department was looking to fill their accoun- tant position and Wittwer “eagerly applied.”
Luke Howard (’13, information systems management) has recently taken on a new role as director of technology after nine years with First Multiple Listing Service in Atlanta. Remodeling a home, living on a lake and growing his career have been challenges he welcomed over the past two years. “The skills I learned getting my infor- mation systems management degree have helped me every step of the way, combining my passion for business and technology.” Daniel Huckabee (’13, finance) recently took a new job with startup company Orum as an account executive. “I am solving a real problem for sales professionals who make cold calls.” Sales professionals who depend on cold calling face a serious problem: not enough people pick up the phone. “Orum helps those sales pros make more calls in a short amount of time, increasing the conversa- tions they’re having each day.” Jeremy Leff (’13, information systems management) is currently living in the Atlanta area, working as a principal soft- ware engineer with Insight Enterprises, a global Fortune 500 IT consulting firm. He recently completed his M.S. in computer science from Georgia Tech. Trey Lowe (’11, business administration) recently got engaged. He received a direct commission into the U.S. Navy Reserves based on his resume and background in supply chain. Michael Lummus (’10, MBA) was just promoted to senior vice president, strategy and chief of staff at content management software company Aprimo. “I hold overall company responsibility for business strategy, planning, operational
