KICKSTART FUND AUBURN UNIVERSITY The path to first class entrepreneurship

HARBERT COLLEGE OF BUSINESS | NEW VENTURE ACCELERATOR

“The Auburn Kickstart Fund marks the next step in the evolution of world class entrepreneurship at Auburn University.” - Lou Bifano

A GROWING OPPORTUNITY

At Auburn’s New Venture Accelerator students and faculty, mentored by talented, veteran entrepreneurs-in-residence have raised over $100 million for start-up ventures. A Kickstart Fund can amplify this success and propel Auburn’s entrepreneurship programs to be among the best in the nation. There’s often a gap between winning a pitch competition and securing the financing that will lift a fledgling enterprise off the ground. A Kickstart Fund can offer direct capital grants to Auburn entrepreneurs without diluting their ownership. Designed to build on the Tiger Cage Business Pitch Competition awards, the Auburn Kickstart Fund is the next element in our planned program to help finance high-potential start-up teams.
