company as an outside business develop- ment manager in September 2023. He is excited for the new challenge! Drew Markel (’23, MBA)  was promoted two-thirds of the way through his MBA program and is learning what comes along with that. He works at Kimberly-Clark Professional as a senior process engineer, serving as the liaison between the manu- facturing and business teams. As such, he rolls out necessary cost savings projects to their mills and also rallies support for the mills’ needs within the business team. He and his wife gained a wonderful new niece this summer. Avalon Meacham (’21, MBA)  recently launched Event Florals, based in Auburn, which provides floral services for various events including weddings, private parties, and university events. She is joined in this venture by her business partner, Emily Burchfield, who is a Master Gardener with an extensive background in floral design. Avalon has also been working as a program manager at Maersk full-time since completing her MBA. Shannon Metcalf (’23, MSIS)  was recently promoted to Lt. Col. in the Georgia Air National Guard. She is the commander of the 202nd Engineering Installation Squadron at Robins AFB, Georgia. Her squadron engi- neers, installs, relocates, and removes Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. They do this by delivering tactical to follow-on cyber infrastructure, upgrading current infrastructure, or installing new infrastructure. Kaylie Raines (’21, management)  loves working as a recruiter with BL Harbert International. She works to recruit anywhere from interns to full-time

Dakota Caldwell (’22, MAcc)  and Mark Caldwell both graduated from the Auburn MAcc program about ten years apart! They are now married with four kids, and they work together in their Peachtree City, Georgia accounting firm, Southeast Accounting and Finance, CPA. “Harbert College encouraged me to get my CPA and after graduation, I started working on my designation and completed it in January 2024.” Elaina Eichorn (’23, marketing)  reached one year of working with the Office of Student Involvement at Auburn University as their marketing and commu- nications graduate assistant. In the spring, she worked for NCAA Photos as their photographer workshop advisor and ran social media during the workshop. She has gained strong marketing experience since graduating from Harbert and looks forward to graduating with her master’s in the spring. Bode Hinds (’23, finance)  works as a financial development program analyst for Regions Bank and recently married Arden McCullough (’24, marketing), who started work as a Younglife associate in August. Maddux Jeffreys (’20, marketing)  contin- ued at Auburn to receive his master’s from the School of Education in 2022. He is currently the director of basketball opera- tions for Auburn Men’s Basketball. He was a student manager during his undergrad, a graduate assistant during his master's, and is now blessed to have been promoted by Coach Pearl to a full-time staff member. Charles Jenkins (’21, finance)  just moved from Nashville to Houston starting a new job for Enterprise Products as a distribu- tion analyst. He started working in freight sales in Nashville in March 2022, was promoted to sales manager in December 2022, and then worked at a different

Bianca Webb (’15, management)  trans- ferred to Auburn as a junior and has been in sports ever since graduation. She worked with men’s and women’s basket- ball and is now in her third season as the director of recruiting operations and football events for Auburn Football. Her degree in business management aids her as she oversees the recruiting department for the football team. Ashley Yarbrough (’20, graduate certifi- cate of business analytics)  received her doctorate in industrial & systems engi- neering from Auburn and is now an assis- tant professor of operations manage- ment at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is teaching many of the topics she learned while at Auburn, such as operations and supply chain manage- ment, visual analytics and enterprise systems, and project management. 2020s Seth Baylis (’20, accounting, ’21, MAcc)  spent approximately three years after graduation gaining tax compliance expe- rience which enabled him to enter the cryptocurrency industry. He joined with two fellow Bitcoiners to form the very first Bitcoin-only accounting firm, Satoshi Pacioli, based out of Bitcoin Park in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the head of tax at the firm and gets to work on tax compli- ance for Bitcoiners and their companies. Rhett Block (’23, finance)  spent his first full year post-grad in Dallas, working for Stephens Inc., a family-owned and operated financial services firm based in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is an analyst for their investment bank specializing in U. S. Depositories with a geographic focus on Texas and the Mountain West. He has loved this experience and feels supported by friends and alumni.
